How to Use Our Itineraries

When a client requests a destination you haven't sold before, there’s nothing more time-consuming than starting from scratch and meticulously piecing together every detail of the trip: the ideal hotel location, quality and cost, tours, transfers, dining recommendations, the best times to visit, weather expectations, and potential holiday events to consider.

Our itineraries simplify this process, offering a structured guide to help you quickly design a trip that meets your client’s needs. From tailored supplier recommendations to a streamlined approach for matching services to different client types, our templates ensure that every detail is within reach and aligned with your client’s expectations.

  • Match Client Profiles: Knowing your client’s preferred cabin type can help gauge their budget and comfort level, providing a strong starting point for planning. While there are exceptions, it’s often a helpful guide.
  • Customize Experiences: Feel free to mix and match elements across categories to create the ideal trip for each client.
  • Stay Informed: Check our website regularly for updated itineraries and the latest supplier recommendations.

Tiered Itinerary Structure

Our itineraries are designed to suit a wide range of travelers, from budget-conscious explorers to those seeking unparalleled luxury. Here’s a detailed breakdown of each tier:

Basic Economy: The Essential Journey

Ideal for: Independent travelers, budget-conscious clients, and those who prefer flexibility.

Key Components

  • Tours & Activities: Offer large group tours or independent exploration with pre-booked tickets and audio guides (VoiceMap, GuideAlong).
  • Transportation: Encourage use of public transit, including trains, buses, and taxis for affordable navigation.
  • Dining: Recommend quick-service restaurants, sandwich shops, and fast-food outlets for convenient dining.
  • Accommodation: Book clean, comfortable hotels as close to the city center or public transport as possible to reduce transfer costs.

Tips

As agents working on commissions, these clients may not be ideal. Consider charging a planning fee for low-cost trips. Only take on Basic Economy clients with a planning fee, though often they may not be willing to pay it. On all of our Basic Economy itineraries, we'll provide a link you can forward them so they can book on their own. No commission but it will free your time to focus on other clients and trips.

  • Accommodation: Choose well-located 3-4 star hotels with solid decor and essential amenities, typically in the $200-$350/night range.

Tips

Focus on balancing cost with added comforts, personalizing the experience within a moderate budget. If the commission doesn’t add up to at least $500 after splits, charging a planning fee is recommended.

Enhance every aspect of the journey, offering exclusive options that allow clients to choose between small group or private tours based on their budget. These clients strike the perfect balance—they typically provide a healthy commission without needing anything super extravagant. Ideal clients for commission-based work.
